Recommendations
- Water the foundation regularly - limit moisture changes within the soil
- Maintain proper drainage around the foundation in a manner that water runs away from the foundation
- Gutter and downspout system should discharge at least 18 to 24 inches away from the foundation
- Shrubs may be planted at least 24 inches away from the foundation
- Keep ground cover around the foundation
- Soaker hoses may be placed atleast 18 to 24 inches away from the foundation
