Recommendations

  • ​Water the foundation regularly - limit moisture changes within the soil
  • Maintain proper drainage around the foundation in a manner that water runs away from the foundation
  • Gutter and downspout system should discharge at least 18 to 24 inches away from the foundation
  • Shrubs may be planted at least 24 inches away from the foundation
  • Keep ground cover around the foundation
  • Soaker hoses may be placed atleast 18 to 24 inches away from the foundation
